    Hello

I notice this bit that you added to one of your post:

“Update: Since 4th october this blog is again running on Wordpress, mainly for the reasons of a long delay of the Expression Engine 2.0.”

I’m confused. Why dump EE for Wordpress? Don’t get wrong, WP is nice but it does not compare in power and flexibility to EE. How is the delay for EE 2.0 harming you?

I’m new to EE. Love it! But obviously I still have loads to learn. Hope you can spare a moment to help.

    Regards
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
you’re right that EE is a great piece of software. After all I’m still a customer of EE :-). However I tested it for a couple of month and I have to admit that for my small blog, Wordpress fits better. I believe this is mainly an individual decision and choice - in other words, that’s nothing wrong going for EE. Yes Expression Engine is flexible, but WP is as well in its latest release.

The customization potentials of EE are amazing and same for the community helping you, but the development team is small - again, in comparison to WP - and I like the spirit of the WP open source community.

In a nutshell, completely up to you - but my decision, after strong deep dive - goes for my needs definitely towards Wordpress.

    Regards,
    Jeannot
