After all that snow it was a question of time only until floodwater.We have one more meter until one of the major roads will be flooded and this will consequently mean that the hill we are living becomes an island. Whilst most Germans prepared themselves to watch the soccer game Germany / Argentina, Oberwinter and the region suffered from a very heavy summer storm. Living at the top mountain of Oberwinter we escaped quite well in comparaison to our neighbors. Only 10 km away the storm was even heavier as the following German newspaper article [...] Read more »
